Have to admit to hearing Kate Bush, circa the Man with the Child in his Eyes because it has that distant but ultimately affecting distance. In many ways it feels like we're excluded from the inner circle, breathing in every teary eyed pronouncement but know it is aimed at someone entirely different. I never quite recovered from that feeling but there is a fire in the belly of this track that emerges later and it doesn't hold back on the controlled bombast. Live shows must be completely electric affairs with this firebrand in the armoury.
