so many aspects of our culture and society contribute to feelings of isolation and overwhelm these days. inner oasis workshop is my way of offering a reprieve. not only is it a space of deep connection and community; it’s a training ground where we develop the skills to create this connection and community wherever we are. and it’s designed for everyone, no matter how comfortable (or uncomfortable) you feel with the topics.
inner oasis workshop:
small group, gentle education to develop
emotional vulnerability
the quality of softness inside that allows us to see and feel the emotions within ourselves and each other. it's the risk of allowing ourselves to be seen as we are, without any pretenses or masks - whether that's within our own skin or by other people.
&
intuitive creativity
the natural force that lives within all of us when we carve out the space to be present and allow what is. in our contexts now, this often includes intentionally removing or bypassing expectations, standards, restrictive external structures, and a sense of needing to “measure up,” “be good enough,” or “produce.”

Interrelationship - poem by Thich Nhat Hanh
You are me, and I am you Isn’t it obvious that we “inter-are”? You cultivate the flower in yourself, so that I will be beautiful. I transform the garbage in myself, so that you will not have to suffer.
I support you; you support me. I am in this world to offer you peace; you are in this world to bring me joy.
