“highly sensitive gays give me life 🫶 it was truly magical to witness in person, my eyes are watering just thinking about it.”
— Nina Nepa
about
highly sensitive gays is a trio of guitarists and friends Hannah Rooth, Mark Charles Smith, and Reilly Brown. They are based in Los Angeles and bonded in "inner oasis" peer support group, practicing skills for emotional vulnerability and intuitive creative expression.
As well as making heartfelt, delicate, and emotionally evocative music, they co-create shows that bring the audience into an experience of love, vulnerability, and connection.
The group's first co-write is a collaboration with Badee Dwaik, a Palestinian poet and human rights activist in the West Bank. "Freedom (Morning Flowers)" is currently being produced by Lauren O'Connell and will be highly sensitive gays' debut single.
Their first EP will be produced by Justin Glasco (Brett Dennen, Paris Paloma, Wild Rivers). The songs are written by Hannah and arranged by the band.
